Clearance inspection is defined as Condition 1 with airborne spore levels in an acceptable range and no visible mold is present. (In a mold affected area, any dust or debris can be considered to harbor molds.)

Condition 1 in accordance to the IICRC:

Condition 1: (normal fungal ecology) An indoor environment that may have settled spores, fungal fragments, or traces of actual growth whose identity, location and quantity are reflective of a normal fungal ecology for a similar indoor environment.
